Drawings that get built, tools that save hours

I'm a CAD/BIM modeler with more than 18 years on landscaping, infrastructure, irrigation and architectural projects — from Kerala design studios to Doha utility networks to Abu Dhabi's flagship parks and resorts.

Today I lead CAD/BIM operations at Basatin Landscaping, coordinating models between site engineers, contractors and managers, and setting the drafting standards our projects follow. Alongside the drawings, I write VB.Net and AutoLISP tools that automate the repetitive parts of AutoCAD work — slope, planting, hatch and infrastructure calculators that I now share with other draughtsmen.
